Running Projects

5 Non-Formal Schools

Jinnah Welfare Council (JWC), in collaboration with Aziz Fatima Trust and System Foundation, is running five Jinnah Non-Formal High Schools in District Bhakkar. These schools provide education only for the Matric class, offering free books, uniforms, and admissions. The program supports 128 students with the help of a dedicated 15-member staff, promoting education and opportunity for underprivileged youth.

Climate-Resilient & Water-Friendly Community

Jinnah Welfare Council (JWC) is implementing the project “Climate-Resilient & Water-Friendly Community” in collaboration with the Trust for Voluntary Organizations (TVO). The project aims to promote sustainable water management, enhance climate resilience, and raise community awareness about environmental protection. Under this initiative, two Climate Resilient Forces (CRFs) have been formed to mobilize local communities and promote eco-friendly practices. Additionally, two water conservation ponds have been constructed to support groundwater recharge and efficient water use, and 2,400 environment-friendly plants have been planted to improve the local ecosystem and combat climate change. The project has directly benefited 500 plus beneficiaries, empowering them to adopt sustainable practices and build resilience against the impacts of climate change.
